Bitter

I guess it's just a mood but...yeah people request all kinds of stuff but only if you buy the yarn and deliver it to them .And then they never even post a pic of how it looks. Make me this make me that. Bring me some yarn.
I guess it is this time of year and my general living conditions and my age. Right now life seems so hard and awful. I am tired and not feeling well with all kinds of weird stuff and I don't want to go to the doctor.
So I am depressed and napping. It's taking all my energy just to exist.

I started one of these but fiddly shit bores the hell out of me.

I have tried this before. Never worked out.

It's not like it worked out great this time but it doesn't look terrible. Will try again. A little different.

Plans

So much to do. So little time.
Baby blanket for Racheal.
I kind of wanted to do boot tops or those leg warmers socks.. eh. I dunno.
Request for hat and scarf..oh dreadful no.
I guess besides the baby blanket ain't much.
I may never finish the dark red throw. It would have been beautiful. Just makes me sad.

Entrelac is my LIFE! Lol.
So glad I took the challenge of learning this beautiful stitch. It really is lovely and goes pretty fast as far as scarves...may do a scarf for the hot pink and black. And yet I have so many things to work on. 

Pink and Black Entrelac

I have gone crazy for entrelac! It particularly suits hats. The above is a ponytail hat for Kelli the nurse at Dr. V's office.
I haven't been working on the double scarves much. Following a pattern is sort of a major drag.
I started my new job and so far it is the greatest. I think it will suit me as I get older and can't run like a 40 year old.
I love giving people things and I am learning from the best.

Temperature Scarf

And hat. Knitted brim, crocheted body.

It ended being an infinity scarf. But I actually love all these colors. And the hat, while loose and roomy, is a pretty good shaped beret.

Overwhelmed

Well I have gone overboard. Two entrelac projects (Samantha Scarf and Kelli hat) as well as the throw for Cindy I have never finished. Two cable and bobble scarves..and this from someone who hates scarves.
So all of them are intermediate level projects. I haven't got any crochet projects going so there's something I guess.
Personal note, rain, tornados and storms all around.
And me in a pile of yarn.

How To

Today my girls have their dance recital.
The above picture is how I have to set everything up to read a pattern...and still there are torrents of troubles. I have been working more on the smaller needles but... crapshoot. Anything can go wrong.
On a personal note I have 7 working days until I transfer out of my current department.
So the current department is going  to try and kill me before I go

Entrelac Hat

Yeah there has to be an easier way but...

I started in the round and made a hopeless mess. Then just began a normal entrelac start. Joined them and added a 2x2 knit purl rib stitch and in growing try to join the seam. Just hobbling along.
There have been storms I love to knit and nap during.

Scarves

I started

The oatmeal color on bigger needles to learn the stitch pattern then started another one on smaller needles and the slow variegated thin yarn and likened it to knotting socks. 

Hard to learn something but it is a challenge I enjoy.

Bucket List

Yes the Entrelac has been my dream, my desire and my nemesis!
Next I will be making a hat to go with this...cowl scarf thing.

The next things I want to do are mostly the things I failed at...

Namely:

Carrying floats in Fair Isle

Learning to do Intarsia

Using a steek.

Following a graph. They make me feel stupid. So far only written instructions and videos make sense.

I love this hobby so much. 

Also want to find some light yarn like this purple and white baby yarn in deep purple to do an edge all the way round. 

Persistent

Still wobbly and unsure .But getting it little by little. This is supposed to be a two sided pillow. Don't think it will be.
But I keep trying.

Convinced

Again I have been CURSED with the urge to learn entrelac knitting. I suck. All the written patterns and YouTube videos in the world can help me.

This doesn't do justice. All  I can see is the dog hair .Two different types of cables and bobbles .We need to have it done by Feb. 2.

I had committed a knitting sin. Tried a few ways to fix it but realized it was WAY too big.
Going to try and ensmallen the throw.
