Hat Pattern

I've made a thousand hats but this is the first time I decided to follow a pattern. I suck at it, unfortunately. I was so disappointed in my inability to make a two color pattern that looked good. I ended up doing the same old hat mostly. But at least I'm still knitting! I need to start sewing but, oh the pins, all the threads everywhere...*sigh*. It seems like a lot of work and I can't shove the whole mess in my purse and take it with me.
